Have you been begging your duo to try Valorant with you, and they finally said yes?
It must have been hard, but you finally did it. I am proud of you.
But now the pickle is- which Valorant agent they should be playing?
It can be confusing to help your duo select their agent as a new player, hence I made this list.
Enjoy!
- Sage
Since your duo is a new player, I am sure you must have already considered Sage. Sage is a really beginner friendly agent, given they can master her walls.
Her heals can really help you get those frags, and she can revive you when you mess up.
However, as a random Valorant player put it, you can’t really play with a broken Sage.
I gave this suggestion assuming you and your duo have voice comms, which will make it easier for you to teach the new Sage how to revive you and heal you (and only you, or why are you even playing duo?).
The next agent is a bit tough to start with, but if you want those kills, he is your best right hand man.
- Sova
I know, I know. Sova is hard to play with, but hear me out, ok?
His recon is invaluable in giving info of enemies, and assuming you play all rush in guns blazing Phoenix style, what else do you need to absolutely destroy the enemies?
Your duo doesn’t necessarily need to know the lineups to help your team win, the shock dart can be used in front as well if needed.
Assuming your duo now has a few hours of gameplay and can unlock a new agent, there is no doubt who your duo should unlock-
3.Gekko
Sova is not just hard to play with, he is also boring.
Gekko and his crew of creatures are not just cute to look at, but they can also play. And play really well.
Use Dizzy to blind your enemies and rush them, there is no way they will be expecting it.
Use Moshpit to cut their escape options, and with DIzzy in the air, it creates the perfect opportunity to strike kills!
4. Fade
While playing low elo, at least in my experience, information gathered by initiators is not really used, not because its not useful but because no one wants to play on boring info.
But if you are one of those who really value their information sources, have your duo play Fade.
Fade can reveal the enemies and acting on her intel, you can really get your kill count up.
Her blind can be used to make space for you to entry site, and her ult is something enemies will actually fear and you can use.
5. Cypher
Is it any surprise that Cypher is on this list?
One of the strongest agents in Valorant as of now, Cypher really disorients his enemies and helps his team (especially you!) get some sweet wins in the trickiest of maps.
All you need to do is teach your duo where to use their trip, when to pop their cage and use his spycam to gather info for you.
This concludes my list of the best 5 agents for your duo to play as a new Valorant player.
